Fourth of July without fireworks? It is almost unheard of! Luckily, San Diego is home to some amazing firework shows; the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day!
Before we fire up the grill and find the perfect spot to view three different firework shows at once, it`s important to remember the meaning behind July 4th.
Independence Day in the United States commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This declared our independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. It is considered the National Day of the United States.
The fourth of July is an important day for all Americans; a day to sport red, white and blue outfits, show our patriotism and be thankful for our freedom.
In San Diego, there are not many places where you can`t enjoy the fireworks; and for those lucky enough to have a home with a view, some may not have to go further than their backyard.
