In the first 18 months since the company launched, Windermere Homes & Estates has hired over 200 agents, opened five offices, started construction on two others and has more luxury locations on the way.  The real estate brokerage expects that in 2015 they will hit a billion in sales while maintaining steady growth and their commitment to remain an agent-centric firm.

When Windermere Homes & Estates opened their doors in July of 2013, co-owners Brian Gooding and Rich Johnson agreed that the main focus of the company would be keeping the culture agent-centered and family oriented. By putting relationships before sales quotas, Brian and Rich knew that Windermere Homes & Estates would create an environment that fueled success and innovation.

Being a real estate agent isn`t just about selling homes, it is a relationship-based business. The foundation on which an agent builds their business solely depends on your clients and the referrals they give you.

The Markets. Fixed rates on home loans were stable and slightly lower for the third straight week. Freddie Mac announced that for the week ending November 26, 30-year fixed rates fell to 3.97% from 3.99% the week before. The average for 15-year loans remained at 3.17%. Adjustables were also unchanged, with the average for one-year adjustables stable at 2.44% and five-year adjustables staying at 3.01%. A year ago, 30-year fixed rates were at 4.29%, which continues to be higher than today's levels. Judy Goldberg, a Realtor at Windermere Homes & Estates in Carlsbad, kicked off her 4th Annual Food Drive in the Aviara community of Tramonto.

Judy said, "I coordinated this food drive for the 4th year to provide a decent Thanksgiving meal for others who have fallen on hard times. We have had an excellent turnout each year and have gotten anywhere from 200-400lbs of food to go to Brother Bennos.  It brings the neighborhood together and allows a time for each of us to give back.”

Judy hosted the food drive on Saturday, November 22nd by going door to door to pick up food from the neighbors.

This year, Judy collected over 390 pounds of food to give back to the local community!
